About Us

Reflectionsin3D was founded in 2021 after our beloved dog, Ringo, passed away. We were searching for something special by which we could remember and honor him. Canvas prints or two dimensional photographs did not seem enough to commemorate the life of our little buddy. Then someone suggested we purchase a 3D crystal engraved with our favorite photo of Ringo. When our heart shaped crystal arrived, we were overtaken with emotion. Seeing the breath-taking likeness of our precious companion in a 3D crystal was the catalyst for starting our own 3D Crystal engraving business. 

We started our 3D crystal business from a kiosk in a mall setting. This provided the opportunity to interact with our potential customers. There was a lot of interest generated by the different shapes and sizes of the 3D crystals on display. People would approach and ask which shapes would work best with the photos they had chosen. Most of the photos we were shown were perfectly suitable for a 3D crystal with only minor adjustments to color or exposure needed. On some occasions, we would be presented with a paper photograph from a time before digital technology. We were able to create a digital copy from the photograph and transform that into a beautiful 3D crystal. Other times, we were presented with multiple photographs and asked to combine the people into a single image for a 3D crystal. Our customers’ joy and surprise at seeing their photographs come to life in a 3D image was truly a testament to our products and services.

We worked with hundreds of customers to understand their expectations in capturing the memories and moments they cherish. It is our sincere desire at Reflectionsin3D to create that unique and personal 3D Crystal gift to be treasured for years to come.
